Students will learn about hermit crab life from the early journey of being tiny baby hermies out in sea, learn about their adventures on land, be educated on what hermit crabs eat, how these loveable crustaceans communicate, defend from predators, and mature into full adulthood.

Students will learn about  the anatomy of hermit crabs. each part, and uses for them.


Students will participate in a crabitat building exercises that includes selecting and decorating environmentally safe and non-toxic crab shell.

Students will participate in exercises of building a safe environment and surrounding for hermit crabs.

Students will have an opportunity to touch and see hundreds of hermit crabs up close and personal at our moblie touch tank.

Students will have the opportunity to name a crab and watch and participate with them in an exciting sidewalk race against other students

We offer two programs, K4 to Grade 2 and Grade 3-5 each with age appropriate content.

Our original content meets Sunshine State Standards, Common Core and STEM, and Abeka.
Emphasis on Science Education for Kids and STEM programs.
Leading school assembly and homeschool program.
Presentation includes group interaction.
Hands-on project making.
Music, movement, and dancing.

Our original program uses teaching methods with music for kids, appropriate dancing and hands on or interactive learning experiences.
Crabucation fosters fresh and age appropriate engagement in literacy, social interaction, motor skills, and science.

The program is both educational and entertaining.  This high-energy multimedia assembly program combines audience participation, educational facts & comedy. Mister Crabs will teach, entertain, and educate your students on a variety of different Florida Native and sub-tropic Crab species, the students and faculty will join us on an educational adventure.
Mister Crabs will take teams of volunteers onto a journey to save and protect Hermit Crabs!
